Preston’s hefty book is full of fabulous, consistently surprising shots, often in black and white, of major players galore, from Chuck Berry huddling with Keith Richards to k.d. lang riding a horse to Brian Wilson with Dr. Eugene Landy in his lap. Plus lots of Zeppelin, Springsteen. and Guns N’ Roses.

Neal Preston will be signing his new book, Neal Preston: Exhilarated and Exhausted at the Morrison Hotel Soho gallery in New York City, Saturday, November 18, 1-5pm and at the Sunset Marquis gallery in West Hollywood on Thursday, December 7, 6-9pm.

Last week, the Forest Hills native flew in from Los Angeles to discuss his new book, “Neal Preston: Exhilarated and Exhausted,” at Rizzoli Bookstore in Manhattan.

The photo exhibition “Neal Preston – In the Eye of the Rock’n’Roll Hurricane” attracted more than 10,000 visitors to Gütersloh Theater in a single month, making it one of the city’s most successful exhibitions ever. 

The newly opened Bar at this 5 star hotel is named “Legends” and Neal Preston’s iconic pictures are integrated in the classy design.

The final session on Monday at TheWrap’s TheGrill conference was a snap: Filmmaker Cameron Crowe discussed a handful iconic music photographs with legendary rock photographers Joel Bernstein and Neal Preston. 

The Ljud, Ljus och Bildmässan (LLB) in Stockholm is the largest industry fair in Sweden which brings more than 100 exhibitors and 3500 visitors together.

The venue is about to be augmented by a rock club going by the name of ‘Turbinen‘. What better way to inaugurate the club than with an exhibition of Neal Preston’s superlative images of the world’s greatest rock stars?

Following the huge success of the “In the Eye of the Rock’n’Roll Hurricane” exhibition at its previous venues, the new version at the LDI Show in Las Vegas has been received with equal enthusiasm.

In October 2015 the Circle Lounge opened its doors in one of Europe’s leading concert locations, the LANXESS Arena in Cologne.

We feel that the smaller scale installation that focused on the many artists photographed by Neal who have performed in Montreux was a perfect fit with the style and atmosphere of the Festival.

More than 60 works by Neal Preston were exhibited in a lavish staging across more than 1000m2 of floor space.
